In an effort to keep our prices low, I have changed the hosting option for Mum Mum’s Beaded Jewelry. This means that I have to add all the products again!! Everything should be back up by next week. The new site still uses PayPal for purchases, but your cart will go straight to PayPal to checkout.
Other news! We have created a second site for other crafts! This site will have varying items available as well as soaps, lotions, and massage oils. There may also be one of a kind quilts, crochet toys, scented sachets and other crafts available on the new site.

I have found that surgical stainless steel earrings are the only kind I can wear. I used to be able to wear anything, but for some reason I have developed an allergy to most earrings. If you are like me sterling silver or any metal that has nickel in it causes my ears to react. The solution for me is surgical stainless steel. I can wear these without any problems and they look just as lovely as other earrings. This is why I have included surgical stainless steel earwires in my line of earrings. Also, I can change any earwires to surgical stainless steel upon request. So, if you are like me and can’t wear most earrings you are in the right place!

Swarovski Crystals are the gold standard of crystal beads throughout the world. No other crystal seems to sparkle like Swarovski. At Mum Mum’s Beaded Jewelry we only use Swarovski crystals when crystals are needed in a design. This is because we are committed to quality and beauty in our designs.
The Swarovski Crystal company started in the 1800s and was the first company to machine cut crystals. Daniel Swarovski invented and patented a crystal faceting machine in 1892. The Swarovski Crystal company has been the top crystal company ever since.
Swarovski Crystal beads have more fire and color saturation than any others I have seen. Designers such as Christian Dior, Gianni Versace, Yves St. Laurent and Dolce & Gabbana have also used Swarovski Crystals in their designs.
I hope you enjoy our selection of crystal jewelry!

At Mum Mum’s Beaded Jewelry we use cultured freshwater pearls and cultured saltwater pearls. These are the best value, which we then pass on to you. Cultured pearls, unlike naturally occurring pearls, have had a helping hand in their formation. But are otherwise just as beautiful!
Natural pearls are extremely costly due to how rare they are. Pearls are formed when an irritant is introduced to an oyster or mollusk’s shell. The mollusk then creates the pearl. This process is the same whether the pearl is cultured or natural, except the irritant is added by people in cultured pearls. The difference between a natural pearl and a cultured pearl can only be seen by x-ray.
We mostly use freshwater pearls in our jewelry creations. The main difference between freshwater and saltwater pearls is their shape. Freshwater pearls tend to be less round, which I think adds more character. Freshwater pearls are usually rice, button or potato shaped. While saltwater pearls are rounder and more traditional looking.
We have a lovely selection of Bridal Jewelry for your wedding day, which features cultured freshwater pearls. Check out our lovely pearl jewelry at http://www.mummumsbeadedjewelry.com
